Construction of Awgooye Elevated Tank (Acc-001)

Awgooye village lies at east of Afgoye town. The current population of Awgooye village is estimated approximately 400 households. The main livelihood of Awgooye communities is farming and livestock keeping, few among the village communities operate a small business such as shops located within the village to earn their income, the available basic infrastructures of the village are feeder roads, shallow wells, and irrigation canals, the village lack communal resource centers such as MCH, Schools, and markets that are beneficial to the communities at large. Through participatory approach method focus group discussion was organized at village level with aim of preparation of CAAP, wealth ranking among the communities. The discussion was participated by village development committees and community members within the village to able count their voice and perceptions on vulnerability while describing very poor, poor, and medium and better off classes among the communities in the village. The Project will use the Bulshokaab platform to track the transactions of the bank accounts and contributions from community members and the diaspora. Through Bulshokaab, members of the public will be able to access these financial transactions by visiting www.Bulshokaab.com. Community contributions amounting to $9,421 are expected to contribute by the residents of Awgooye and its diaspora
